Dr. Stephanie Chubb is originally from northern Delaware and the eastern shore of Maryland.

She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in anthropology. Before attending Tufts University in Massachusetts for veterinary school, she moved to New Orleans to teach high school mathematics with a program called Teach for America. Dr. Chubb completed her dual veterinary degree and masters in public health in 2018. Upon graduation, she completed a one-year rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and their satellite community practice, which provides subsidized, high-quality veterinary care to clients who qualify as low-income. After completing her internship, she has been working on the staff at Angell for the last three years, where she co-led the radioactive iodine program for hyperthyroid cats. She recently relocated to the Richmond area to be close to family. She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but especially enjoys caring for geriatric felines and canines, dermatology, internal medicine cases, palliative care, and building lasting relationships with clients. In her spare time, she loves outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
